Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Expansion:
  • Identify and evaluate potential global markets for business expansion.
  • Build and drive strategic plans to grow the exports vertical for dairy equipment/machinery.
  • Business Development:
  • Generate and manage a strong international business funnel through market intelligence and customer engagement.
  • Prepare compelling project proposals and pitch suitable value propositions to clients.
  • Exports P&L Ownership:
  • Drive the export vertical’s financial performance by owning and managing the P&L.
  • Optimize revenue generation and cost efficiency in line with company targets.
  • Channel & Partner Development:
  • Identify and onboard distributors and B2B partners in targeted international geographies.
  • Build long-term relationships to enable sustainable business growth.
  • Compliance & Regulation:
  • Ensure strict adherence to export regulations, documentation, and statutory compliance across all markets.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Engage with key industry stakeholders, government bodies, and trade associations to create growth opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, expos, and international forums.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing exports and business development team.
  • Foster a results-oriented culture and ensure consistent team performance.


Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in business development of equipment/machinery,
  • including at least 2 years of leadership experience managing the exports vertical with P&L responsibility.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Deep understanding of international sales and export operations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in developing business strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Familiarity with export documentation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage international partnerships.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in International Business or Marketing (preferred).
